Our youngest campers (Pre-K and Kindergarteners) are not separated from the rest of the campers, nor are they limited in terms of what activities they can participate in. Just like at Summer Camp, they have access to all of the same activities that the rest of the campers do, but we do have additional support staff to help them along the way. In addition to helping with sensitive issues like finding friends and activities, these staff will help with some of the basic issues, like reminding children to use the restroom, wash their hands, find snacks and drink water. Staff will offer pathways for our youngest campers to get involved in activities, in addition to supported time outdoors and with our recreational activities. At camp, younger campers learn to be comfortable around older children and in a larger environment, which is great preparation for elementary school.
